                               BOAT PARTICULARS



          Boat type:  Custom Ted Brewer radius chined steel hull and deck built by Mooney Marine of Deltaville, VA in 1983 for myself.  The boat was then finished in New England by a professional wooden boat builder, Paul Rollins of York Maine, and myself.  She was documented and launched in June 1988.  Her official number is 911951,  tonnage gross is 17, net 16, 45.1 LOA, 41.1 LOD, 12.4 beam, 33.4 LWL and 29600 lbs. displacement.  She is cutter rigged. 

          Name: Iron Mistress.  She is technically a 1988 which is reflected in her certificate of documentation.  I am the original owner. 



     The boat was removed from the water in 2000 and has undergone an extensive refit which was completed in 2003 at Patten’s Boat Yard in Maine.  Everything was replaced or refurbished to original specs.  The boat is in Bristol condition.   

          In addition, a second refit and upgrade was done in New Zealand in 2006.  This included a new custom boom and gooseneck, new deck paint and nonskid, dodger for the companionway.  Mainsail was recut by Doyle with a new Doyle Stackpack. 

           Note: everything is brand new and unused unless specified otherwise.

   NOTE:   Boat was first launched in 1988 and in 1999 was removed from the water and has undergone a comprehensive refit which includes total repainting of the interior and exterior using Devoe Bar-rust 235 undercoats and Awlgrip topcoats.  All varnishing has been refinished.  Custom Corian countertops and custom cabinets were fabricated and installed to increase storage.  Custom cushions with Ultraleather coverings.  Aft bunk is Temper-pedic foam and forward V-berth is custom Handcraft Mattress.  All interior lighting has been replaced with Oceans SS lamps and fluorescent lighting.  All wiring has been replaced and an isolation transformer has been installed.  It has a completely new exhaust system, steering system, electronics, cables and hoses for all systems have been totally replaced. New faucets in head and galley and custom SS 316-L railings, radar tower, handrails and aft boomkin structure along with motor crane have been fabricated. All equipment is installed and functional.
