Once leaving Puerto Rico, it was a three day passage to Turks and Caicos, with our first stop being the uninhabited island of French Cay (#1). We spent a glorious couple of days there, enjoying the solitude of being the only boat in the anchorage. From French Cay we crossed the coral strewn South Caicos Bank reaching Providenciales without incident. We based ourselves at the Caicos Marina and Shipyard (#2) while touring the island by car. Then it was on to West Caicos (#3) to meet up with our friends on "Elixir of Life" and "Daydream". |
