This is the route of our first season out cruising. We left from our home port of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and headed to Virginia via the C&D Canal (#4) and the Chesapeake Bay (#5). The Caribbean 1500 rally brought us to the Caribbean with a stop off in Bermuda (#7) for refueling. Then on to the Leeward Islands as far as Antigua (#10). Then we headed back to the States via Puerto Rico (#11), Turks and Caicos (#12), nonstop through the Bahamas from Rum Cay (#13) to Miami (#16). Then around south Florida to the west coast and Punta Gorda (#18). |
